Make a positive impact on students' lives by serving as a district-wide School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity involves working collaboratively across multiple campuses, providing crucial support, and completing comprehensive evaluations to foster student success.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Current license or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Demonstrated understanding of psychological assessments and best practices in student support
- Experience working in a K-12 educational setting strongly preferred
- Ability to handle a diverse caseload and travel between schools as needed within the district
- Strong communication, organizational, and report-writing skills
- Commitment to ethical standards and cultural competence
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students district-wide
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and direct support to staff and families regarding student needs and intervention strategies
- Develop, recommend, and monitor evidence-based interventions to address academic, behavioral, and mental health challenges
- Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral support plans, and preventive mental health programming
- Maintain accurate records and timely reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Support positive school climates by fostering inclusivity, wellness, and student growth
