This contract position runs from August 24th through June 4th and offers the flexibility of hybrid schedules, with each psychologist supporting 1-2 schools. Located near Chesapeake, VA, the role provides a dynamic setting within a well-regarded and supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Virginia School Psychologist license required
• Previous experience working with school-aged children in K-12 (preferred)
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Capacity to adapt to hybrid or in-person service delivery as needed
• Strong organizational abilities to manage assessments, interventions, and meetings

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and interpreting results for K-12 students
• Providing direct counseling and support services to students as needed
• Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and related service providers
• Assisting with the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participating in problem-solving teams and contributing to school-wide initiatives
• Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
