Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support elementary students within the Virginia Beach area. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time hours during the standard school day, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, accommodating varying caseloads based on assignment needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological assessments to elementary-aged students
  • Participate in all required meetings, including Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD), reevaluation, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Collaborate closely with school staff to support student success and meet educational goals
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with school district policies and state requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current State Licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Active Department of Education (DOE) Certification
  • Open to candidates ranging from new graduates to experienced professionals
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students

Location:

  • Virginia Beach area (specifically Chesapeake, VA)

This position is strictly on-site with no options for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
