Requirements:

• Valid School Psychologist certification for the state of North Carolina
• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, IEPs, and special education law
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Develop and interpret IEPs, implement interventions, and monitor progress
• Provide consultation and support to teachers regarding behavioral and academic concerns
• Offer counseling to students individually and in groups as needed
• Participate in student support and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Assist with crisis prevention and intervention
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation and reports
