Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for school psychologist certification
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Ability to work effectively with students of all backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with staff, families, and external professionals
- Organized, compassionate, and dedicated to fostering a positive school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators on strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Offer direct counseling and consultative services to students, families, and educators
- Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary within the school community
- Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
