Job Description

This position is for a School Psychologist serving a K-12 school in North Charleston, SC. The role is part-time (.5 FTE) and runs on a contract basis from ASAP through May 29, 2026. The caseload and age group will be determined upon placement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12
  • Provide consultation and support to educators, parents, and staff
  • Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate on school-wide initiatives to promote mental health and well-being
  • Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and district policies

Qualifications:

  • Active Psychologist licensure in South Carolina is required
  • Experience working with K-12 populations in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Location:

  • One school located in North Charleston, SC within the Charleston County School District
