A School Psychologist role is available in Chapel Hill, NC, providing essential psychological services within a school setting on a contract basis. This position involves collaborating with educators, parents, and students to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff
• Provide counseling and behavioral support for students facing challenges
• Consult with teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student concerns
• Maintain accurate records and comply with school and legal requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed or certified School Psychologist credential preferred
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results
• Strong communication skills for interacting with students, families, and school personnel
• Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology and special education
• Ability to manage caseload efficiently and work collaboratively within a team
• Background working in K-12 school environments is highly desirable
