Key Qualifications:
- Hold valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience with psychological assessments, individualized education programs (IEPs), and counseling practices in school settings
- Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and response-to-intervention (RTI) frameworks
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, parents, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations and provide written reports
- Support the creation and review of IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver counseling and intervention services to students, both individually and in groups
- Participate actively in child study or eligibility meetings
- Offer professional guidance to teachers and parents concerning student needs and accommodations
- Contribute to development and execution of behavioral plans and interventions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation remains compliant with district and state guidelines
