Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in school psychology or a closely related field
  • Valid Arizona school psychologist license
  • Current IVP (Identity Verified Prints) fingerprint clearance card
  • Previous experience in elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling abilities
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, emotional, or behavioral concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop intervention strategies and support services
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions to address school adjustment, social skills, and emotional well-being
  • Consult with families and staff to recommend educational accommodations and modifications
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
