Qualifications:
- Masters degree in school psychology or a closely related field
- Valid Arizona school psychologist license
- Current IVP (Identity Verified Prints) fingerprint clearance card
- Previous experience in elementary, middle, or high school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for academic, emotional, or behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop intervention strategies and support services
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions to address school adjustment, social skills, and emotional well-being
- Consult with families and staff to recommend educational accommodations and modifications
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
