Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited program in School Psychology
- Valid certification and/or state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with middle school-aged students is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments, report writing, and developing intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological assessments to support student learning and well-being
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing insights and coordinating plans with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop, implement, and monitor interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and district standards
- Provide crisis intervention and consult on best practices for behavior and academic support
