Make a difference in the lives of students while working as a school psychologist in a rewarding contract role for the upcoming academic year. This onsite opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule of 35 hours per week, supporting either 7th8th grade junior high or K4 elementary students.
In this position, youll apply your expertise to help foster a positive, supportive environment for students, staff, and families. Youll play a vital role in assessment, intervention, and team collaboration to address student needs and help them reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist License (PSYCH IL)
- Experience working as a school psychologist in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
- Expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation practices
- Physical ability to perform responsibilities onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and data-based evaluations
- Collaborate with educators and families to create interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop student plans
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Support positive behavioral interventions and mental health initiatives
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies
