Job Description

Make a difference in the lives of students while working as a school psychologist in a rewarding contract role for the upcoming academic year. This onsite opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule of 35 hours per week, supporting either 7th8th grade junior high or K4 elementary students.

In this position, youll apply your expertise to help foster a positive, supportive environment for students, staff, and families. Youll play a vital role in assessment, intervention, and team collaboration to address student needs and help them reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois School Psychologist License (PSYCH IL)
  • Experience working as a school psychologist in an educational setting
  • Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
  • Expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation practices
  • Physical ability to perform responsibilities onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and data-based evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators and families to create interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help develop student plans
  • Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Support positive behavioral interventions and mental health initiatives
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with school policies
