Job Description

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 202627 school year in Catlin, IL. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support students in either a junior high setting (7th8th grade) or an elementary school setting (K4). The assignment requires 35 hours per week, with an anticipated start date around August 18, 2026, and an end date around June 4, 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct special education evaluations in compliance with IDEA and Illinois regulations
  • Implement MTSS processes and monitor progress effectively
  • Facilitate and schedule domain meetings, Educational Development Conferences (EDCs), and Annual Reviews (ARs)
  • Perform Manifestation Determination Reviews and manage timelines for special education evaluations
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 plans, Differentiated Services (DS), and MTSS frameworks
  • Utilize assessment systems such as Q-global and FastBridge to support data-driven decision-making
  • Use Google Docs and related tools for documentation and collaboration

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working within IDEA and Illinois special education laws and regulations
  • Familiarity with MTSS processes and intervention strategies
  • Proven ability to manage special education evaluation timelines and processes effectively
  • Strong skills in scheduling and facilitating collaborative meetings with multidisciplinary teams
  • Competence in administering and interpreting educational and psychological assessments
  • Proficiency with assessment platforms Q-global and FastBridge
