Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certificate or a Preliminary School Psychologist certificate.
  • Master's or Ed.S. degree in School Psychology.
  • Experience providing psychological and educational assessments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to fostering positive, inclusive school climates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students strengths and needs.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention and support strategies.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert recommendations.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as necessary.
  • Advocate for the social, emotional, and academic success of students.
