Job Description

Desired qualifications and experience include:

  • Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Strong understanding of special education laws and processes, including IEP development
  • Excellent communication skills for consultation with staff, students, and families

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

  • Administering psychological assessments and interpreting results to guide intervention and eligibility decisions
  • Participating actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Offering individual and group counseling to students as needed
  • Providing crisis intervention and behavioral support
  • Consulting with educators and parents to design strategies and data-driven supports
  • Supporting the school community by promoting mental wellness and academic achievement
