Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current and valid New Mexico school psychologist license
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school students
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to dynamic school environments
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine students needs and support eligibility for services
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students individually or in small groups
- Consult with teachers and staff to recommend classroom strategies and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and contribute to data-driven decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state reporting requirements
