This role involves working closely with a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) program, conducting both initial and re-evaluation assessments, and collaborating with educators and families to help students reach their fullest potential. Key Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school students preferred
- Knowledge of MTSS framework and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Strong assessment skills, including administering initial and re-evaluations
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of high school students, addressing their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Perform comprehensive assessments, including both initial and re-evaluations, to inform individualized supports
- Collaborate with the MTSS team to develop, implement, and monitor interventions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with school and legal standards
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
