Job Description

In this contract position, you'll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students. Your insights and interventions will shape learning environments that foster growth and success for all learners.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or ability to obtain)
  • Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
  • Strong assessment skills including administering and interpreting cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional measures
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, administrators, and families
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs and 504 plans is preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for referred students
  • Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to educational teams and families
  • Develop evidence-based recommendations for intervention and support
  • Consult with teachers and staff on strategies for enhancing student engagement and learning
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Promote positive behavior and mental wellness within the school community
  • Collaborate in crisis intervention and prevention efforts as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with policies and best practices
