Job Description
A licensed Michigan School Psychologist is needed for the 2026/2027 school year to support secondary-level students in a full-time, contract position located in Canton, MI. This role offers the opportunity to work directly on site with secondary students, providing essential psychological services that support academic success and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for secondary students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working directly with secondary-level students on site
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to implement evidence-based interventions
- Commitment to student-centered support services
Schedule and Location:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm
- Position located in Canton, MI
