Job Description
A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2024-2025 school year at a K-12 charter school located in Lowell, MA. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services across all grade levels, supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to special education planning
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district policies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Massachusetts School Psychologist license required
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaborative skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with current best practices in school psychology and special education laws
