Sunbelt Staffing is working with a school district located near Calumet City, IL, to hire a School Psychologist. This contract position is Part-Time, working 2 days per week for the full school year.
In this role, the School Psychologist will primarily work to support students in Elementary grades.
Responsibilities may include:
- Evaluating students for eligibility of special education services
- Counseling students individually or in groups
- Writing evaluation reports with multidisciplinary evaluation teams
- Consulting with parents and teachers
- Leading teams through the process of completing Functional Behavior Assessments
- Supporting the implementation of formal or informal behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with the other School Psychologists for the district, meet weekly, and a possibility of attending Student Intervention meetings.
Requirements:
- Must have a Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Illinois state School Psychologist license is required
- Professional Educators License (PEL) is required
