Step into a vital role supporting student well-being as a School Psychologist on a contract basis. In this position, you'll work closely with educators, students, and families to foster a positive learning environment and help students reach their full academic and emotional potential. Your expertise will play a key role in conducting assessments, offering guidance, and collaborating on intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological services in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, intervention planning, and behavioral support
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and interventions
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention support to students
- Consult with educators and staff on strategies for improving classroom management and learning outcomes
- Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) processes and data-driven decision-making
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
