This position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in school psychology within a supportive educational environment. You will play a crucial role in assessing and supporting the mental health and learning needs of students, collaborating with educators and families to promote positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and consultations to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a supportive school climate
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and delivering interventions in school settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of special education laws and educational resources is preferred
