Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Experience working within school systems or educational settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evaluation, behavioral interventions, and special education regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for instructional planning.
  • Provide direct and indirect support to students, including counseling and crisis intervention.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Consult with teachers and parents on strategies to support students academic and behavioral growth.
  • Collaborate with school staff to implement positive behavior interventions and supports.
  • Maintain clear documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
