Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in Minnesota)
  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments, interpreting results, and providing recommendations
  • Strong communication skills for consulting with staff, families, and students
  • Ability to develop and implement individual and group interventions
  • Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan processes
  • Organizational skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret academic, cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Evaluation Teams to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
  • Monitor student progress and document interventions, outcomes, and recommendations
  • Advocate for students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
