Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience administering and interpreting cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments.
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and IEP development.
- Familiarity with best practices in special education law and procedures.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and support strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to create and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Consult with teachers, counselors, and parents to deliver targeted support and interventions.
- Advocate for student needs and help cultivate a positive, inclusive school climate.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to confidentiality standards.
