Key Qualifications:
- Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in Minnesota)
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, interpreting results, and providing recommendations
- Strong communication skills for consulting with staff, families, and students
- Ability to develop and implement individual and group interventions
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan processes
- Organizational skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Responsibilities:
- Administer, score, and interpret academic, cognitive, socio-emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop comprehensive support plans
- Participate in Multidisciplinary Evaluation Teams to determine eligibility for special education services
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
- Monitor student progress and document interventions, outcomes, and recommendations
- Advocate for students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
