This contract position offers the chance to apply expertise in supporting students' mental health and educational development through comprehensive assessments and targeted interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assist in the identification of learning and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Minnesota.
- Experience conducting assessments and delivering psychological services in educational settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse student populations and school staff.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to school psychological services.
