Key qualifications and experience:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Current state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment, data interpretation, and intervention development
- Background in behavioral management, crisis intervention, and counseling students with diverse needs
- Excellent communication abilities for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
In this role, youll:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students
- Develop individualized interventions and participate in IEP and eligibility meetings
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Support development of positive behavior intervention plans and progress monitoring
- Respond to crises and help develop preventative mental health programs
- Maintain thorough and confidential case documentation
