Job Description

Make a direct impact in student development by providing essential psychological services in a contract position as a School Psychologist. Support students and educators by fostering healthy learning environments, collaborating in multidisciplinary teams, and offering expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology (or closely related field)
  • Texas School Psychologist certification or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Experience conducting student assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning differences
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Previous work in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students for academic, behavioral, and emotional needs using standardized tools
  • Develop and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support students goals and accommodations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive interventions
  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling to students as needed
  • Consult with staff on best practices and evidence-based strategies for learning and behavior management
  • Contribute to data-driven decisions promoting positive learning environments
