A dynamic opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students across multiple schools in the Bronx, NY. This contract-based position involves working closely with diverse student populations, providing comprehensive psychological services, and collaborating with educational teams to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychological assessments for students across the K-12 spectrum.
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop and support tailored educational plans.
- Manage a flexible caseload that may vary based on the evolving needs of different school locations.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and other professionals to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Travel between schools as required to meet the demands of varied caseloads and provide consistent services.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold relevant certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Comfortable with a changing caseload and adaptable to shifting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
