Job Description

Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid state certification or license as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with school-age children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Familiarity with conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong communication skills for consultation with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and positive behavior supports

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and interpreting a variety of cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments
  • Collaborating with teachers and administration to develop comprehensive support plans
  • Providing direct and consultative services to students and families
  • Assisting in the identification and management of students with special needs
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to IEP development
  • Supporting crisis intervention efforts within the school community
  • Helping design and implement strategies for school-wide mental health initiatives
