Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist serving students in grades 7-12 for the 2026/2027 academic year. Key Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
- Valid certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with school-aged youth, preferably middle and high school students
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and reporting skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Excellent communication and organizational strengths
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage a comprehensive caseload focusing exclusively on full psychoeducational evaluations, including initial assessments and re-evaluations
- Administer and interpret psychological tests for students in grades 7-12
- Prepare thorough and compliant assessment reports to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
- Participate in IEP meetings and share assessment results with families and staff
- Remain current with relevant best practices and regulatory standards in school psychology
This contract position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35-37.5 hours per week. Youll play a vital role in guiding educational success at the secondary levelwithout counseling or therapy obligations, allowing you to focus on top-quality assessments and evaluations.
