Desired Qualifications:
- Current and active Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychology endorsement
- Previous experience working in Illinois schools is highly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is an asset, though not required
- Certification to serve high school students (grades 1012)
- Skilled in counseling, assessments, and responsive to student needs
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve a high school caseload, supporting 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students
- Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide individual and group counseling as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a positive learning environment
- Monitor student progress and contribute to interventions and crisis management
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality at all times
