A school psychologist position is available onsite in Brighton, MA, supporting K-12 students within a school setting. This contract role offers part-time hours ranging from 25 to 35 per week, providing opportunities to address diverse student needs across the full grade span.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop support plans
- Provide counseling and intervention services to promote student well-being
- Support special education eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and maintain detailed documentation
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license required
- Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and data interpretation
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with school staff, families, and students
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize multiple responsibilities
