If you are passionate about helping students succeed and thrive, an exciting contract opportunity awaits for a skilled professional with expertise in school psychology. This onsite role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of K-12 students throughout the academic year, supporting a single school with important assessments and collaboration.
In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments, as well as participating in 504 plan meetings. Your collaboration with the special education team helps ensure that students receive the support they need for their educational journey. This contract extends through the entire 2026-2027 school year, with 37.5 hours per week scheduled from August through June 2027.
What Were Looking For:
- Current School Psychologist certification
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Ability to work effectively with K-12 students and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with 504 plans and special education processes
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, nurturing environment for students
Role Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for referred students
- Perform individual student assessments to support educational planning
- Attend and contribute to 504 plan meetings
- Partner closely with special education staff to address student needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and findings
- Offer consultation and recommendations to educators and families
