Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong communication, consultation, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to conduct assessments, interpret results, and make recommendations
- Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and multi-tiered systems of support
- Compassionate approach to fostering student growth and resilience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments to identify students needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to develop intervention strategies
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to enhance student support
- Contribute to special education eligibility decisions and IEP development
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and skill-building in individual or group settings
- Offer staff in-service training and ongoing collaboration for positive school climate
- Keep accurate records and documentation in line with school and district requirements
