We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support student development and well-being in a school setting located in Brick, NJ. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation within an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student learning needs and behavioral concerns.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans to assist students academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote positive behavior and mental health strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working in school settings conducting assessments and consultations.
- Strong knowledge of psychological testing tools and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.
