Job Description

In this role, your primary focus will be conducting evaluations and assessments, helping to shape effective education plans for learners at various stages.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist in Maryland
  • Masters or specialist-level degree from an accredited program in School Psychology
  • Strong background in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
  • Experience collaborating with teachers, counselors, and families to develop intervention strategies
  • Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to different grade levels and caseloads

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students in need of support
  • Participate in eligibility determination meetings and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Provide counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
  • Maintain timely and accurate assessment records and reports
  • Serve as a resource for staff and families on topics related to student development and mental health
  • Support positive school climates across diverse grade levels

This position offers a competitive pay rate starting at $43/hr and the flexibility to tailor your caseload to your interests and strengths across elementary, middle, or high schools.
