Make a difference each day by supporting students mental health and educational goals as a School Psychologist in a welcoming Maryland community. This full-time, contract opportunity is available for the next school year and offers the flexibility to work with various grade levelselementary, middle, or high schoolbased on your preference and expertise.
In this role, youll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to drive student success. Youll have the opportunity to complete comprehensive evaluations and assessments, contribute valuable insights, and advocate for students educational and social-emotional needs.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid or eligible School Psychologist certification for Maryland
- Experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
- Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI), IEP, and 504 Plan processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families across grade levels
- Commitment to fostering positive and inclusive school environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments for students
- Develop and recommend individualized educational and behavioral interventions
- Provide direct consultations and collaborate on student support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver counseling or crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
