Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a school psychologist in South Dakota (required)
  • Masters degree or higher in school psychology or a related field
  • Willingness to work across elementary, middle, and high school levels (grades K12)
  • Experience working within South Dakota educational systems is a plus
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Open to considering interns seeking to expand their clinical experience
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group assessments to help identify students academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans that support student growth and achievement
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed to ensure student safety and well-being
  • Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and participate in IEP meetings as appropriate
  • Support data-driven decision making through ongoing progress monitoring
