Position Summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated ASL Interpreter to support an elementary school in Bowling Green, VA for the full 20262027 school year. This fulltime, onsite role focuses on assisting multiple elementaryaged students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, ensuring they have full access to classroom instruction and school activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an interpreter with an Intervener Certification who enjoys working with young learners and collaborating with a supportive school team.

Key Responsibilities

• Student Interpretation Provide ASL interpretation in classroom, smallgroup, and school settings

• Elementary Support Assist multiple students across early grade levels

• Teacher Collaboration Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and staff

• IEP Participation Support communicationrelated goals and accommodations

• Professional Standards Maintain confidentiality and adhere to interpreter ethics

Qualifications

• Active Intervener Certification

• Proficiency in ASL and educational interpreting

• Experience working with elementaryaged students preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
