Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist interested in making a difference for students from PreK through 12th grade. This contract-based position is based near Idaho Springs, CO and covers the current and upcoming school year, starting ASAP and running through the end of the school year as well as for the 2026-2027 academic term. Youll support a caseload of 35 students during a convenient 4-day workweek (Monday through Thursday), working collaboratively to promote student well-being and success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Colorado School Psychologist license
  • CDE certifications as a School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
  • Previous experience in school settings with PreK12th grade students strongly preferred
  • Expertise in assessment, intervention, and consultation for diverse student needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling, behavioral intervention, and crisis management to students grades PreK12
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor IEPs and support plans
  • Support the creation of positive, safe, and inclusive school environments
  • Document services provided and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Consult with staff on student mental health, behavioral issues, and best practices
