An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to make a meaningful impact within a thriving educational setting in Idaho Springs, CO. This role serves students from PreK through 12th grade, supporting a balanced caseload of 35 students. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, with the option to continue for the 2026-2027 school year.
This setting operates on a convenient four-day school week (Monday through Thursday), giving you the chance to enjoy a restorative three-day weekend, perfect for personal time or exploring the scenic surroundings. With support from a collaborative educational staff, you will be instrumental in promoting students academic, social, and emotional growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado School Psychologist license
- CDE credentials as a School Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor
- Experience working with PreK-12 populations is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt across various grade levels and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students and staff
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Support development of social-emotional learning programs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district policies
