This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is for a licensed School Psychologist during the 2026-2027 school year located in Boston, MA. The role involves delivering comprehensive psychological services within a school setting, focusing on supporting student academic and behavioral success through evaluation, counseling, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify student needs
- Write detailed evaluation reports interpreting assessment findings accurately
- Coordinate referrals and determine eligibility for special education evaluations
- Chair initial, annual, and triennial IEP meetings, ensuring compliance and collaboration
- Provide individual and small group counseling to students requiring behavioral or emotional support
- Assist with planning and implementing academic and behavioral support plans tailored to student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts license for School Psychologist required
- Demonstrated experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and IEP processes
- Ability to provide counseling and collaborate effectively with students, families, and educators
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
