As a School Psychologist on a contract basis, you will collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning, behavior, and mental health. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current licensure and certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for state credential)
- Experience with assessments, counseling, and developing interventions for students in K-12 settings
- Strong communication and consultation skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain compliance with state and federal education regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations to determine student needs
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and section 504 plans
- Consult with teachers and parents to offer strategies for supporting academic and social-emotional success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports for each student
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and family conferences
