Desired Background:
- Valid School Psychologist licensure in South Carolina (School Psych II required)
- Previous experience assessing and supporting K-12 student needs preferred
- Expertise conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting data
- Demonstrated ability to consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Committed to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 settings
- Interpret and communicate findings to school staff and families
- Collaborate with teams to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support students academic, social, and emotional growth through targeted intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide input during eligibility and placement meetings
- Stay current with trends and best practices in school psychology
