Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid School Psychologist credential (or eligibility) for Illinois
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, particularly for middle school age groups
  • Solid understanding of IEP development and educational best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective engagement with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet evaluation timelines
  • Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and current ethical standards in school psychology

Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
  • Prepare comprehensive evaluation reports and present findings to multidisciplinary teams

  • Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed

  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
