Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience in K-12 educational settings (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and intervention strategies
- Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with diverse student populations, including those with learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teaming with educators and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify students needs
- Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop support plans and promote student well-being
- Offer guidance to educators and families on effective classroom management and behavioral strategies
- Maintain detailed, confidential student records and participate in ongoing professional development
