Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience in K-12 educational settings (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and intervention strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work compassionately with diverse student populations, including those with learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for teaming with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify students needs
  • Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop support plans and promote student well-being
  • Offer guidance to educators and families on effective classroom management and behavioral strategies
  • Maintain detailed, confidential student records and participate in ongoing professional development
