Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
  • Prior experience working within elementary, middle, or secondary school settings is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual educational and psychological assessments for students
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Provide direct counseling and consultation to students, staff, and parents
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determination and planning
  • Offer crisis intervention and support services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to foster safe, inclusive learning environments
  • Support staff development through workshops and resource sharing
