Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Prior experience working within elementary, middle, or secondary school settings is highly valued
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and special education regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual educational and psychological assessments for students
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
- Provide direct counseling and consultation to students, staff, and parents
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determination and planning
- Offer crisis intervention and support services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to foster safe, inclusive learning environments
- Support staff development through workshops and resource sharing
