Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Current or pending state licensure/certification as a school psychologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong ability to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and special education eligibility
  • Ability to create and facilitate effective interventions and support plans

Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychoeducational assessments to help determine student needs and eligibility for special education services
  • Develop, review, and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services when needed
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to optimize learning outcomes
  • Analyze data to inform intervention strategies and measure student progress
  • Offer guidance on social-emotional learning programs and behavior management plans
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school psychology and related federal/state regulations
