Job Description

As a valued school psychologist, you will collaborate with educators, district staff, and families to foster positive outcomes for learners across multiple grade levels. Your expertise will be essential in serving a diverse community and addressing complex needs within designated school settings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement in Illinois
  • Experience working with high-needs populations, especially students with autism spectrum disorders
  • Specialized knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring
  • Ability to work onsite 32.5 hours per week and travel among multiple school sites if necessary
  • Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students in need
  • Assess, evaluate, and report on individual student learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop and support interventions for students with autism in a grade-level setting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district/state policies
