Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist license required
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations in K-12 settings
- Strong collaboration skills, especially with IEP and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable balancing independent work time (including paperwork from home, with approval)
- Proven ability to communicate results and recommendations thoughtfully to staff and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as part of the IEP process
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Develop intervention strategies based on assessment findings
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise to guide decision making
- Offer consultative support to staff regarding behavioral and academic concerns
