What attributes set you up for success in this role?

  • Valid School Psychologist license issued by the state of Virginia (VA Psych License required)
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
  • Experience in crafting, implementing, and monitoring individualized educational supports
  • Knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) preferred
  • Collaborative approach with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians
  • Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills
  • Adaptability in virtual and in-person environments a plus

Your contributions will include:

  • Administering psychological, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Writing comprehensive and actionable evaluation reports
  • Consulting with staff and families to develop effective intervention plans
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of IEPs for students requiring specialized support
  • Leading, or participating in, crisis intervention and response as needed
  • Promoting safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments
