Job Description

Make an impact supporting young learners as a contract school psychologist in the Cassopolis, MI area, working with primarily elementary-age students across two schools. In this role, you'll partner closely with educators and families to deliver psychological services that foster student success in both academic and social-emotional realms.

You'll have the opportunity to conduct formal assessments, develop and implement intervention plans, and consult with school teams to create supportive learning environments. This position values a collaborative spirit and offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time schedules available (preference for full time).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist certificate, or Preliminary School Psychologist certificate
  • Masters or Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results
  • Strong skills in developing and implementing support and intervention strategies
  • Effective communication with children, educators, and parents
  • Previous experience in an elementary school setting is highly valued

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for students
  • Design individualized intervention plans to address academic and behavioral needs
  • Consult with teachers, administration, and families to maximize student growth
  • Serve as a resource for school personnel regarding mental health, learning, and behavior
  • Support students social, emotional, and academic development through direct services and collaborative planning
