Job Description

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist.
  • Proven experience in assessment, consultation, and intervention within school settings.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to interpret data, write concise reports, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to ethical professional practice and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for assessment.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, administrators, and parents to support student well-being and achievement.
  • Deliver group and individual interventions addressing academic, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Assist with crisis intervention, prevention, and restorative practices as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing your expertise to student success.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
